Keep reading to discover my picks from the affordable Amazon home decor range, for summer 2021.

1) Natural Rustic Wood Brick Mould Planter
This beautiful reclaimed wood box from Ib Laursen and stocked on Amazon – is perfect for creating a small indoor herb garden. That’s what I’ve used mine for, my little herb garden sits on my window sill and is so rustic and naturally beautiful. It’s a pleasure to have as decor in my home, especially as we don’t have a garden at the moment.
2) Rustic, Natural Home Coffee Table Books
Coffee table books are fabulous additions to your living room, they provide fantastic inspiration with the gorgeous photography. Not to mention they are a conversation point for any guests you may have over.
There are lots of books to choose from, these two just embody natural, rustic and country living. That’s why they are my personal favourites, I use mine to give my lamp some height on this small side table. But they work anywhere!

3) Artificial Herb in Vintage Terracotta Pot
These small faux planters and amongst the best I’ve seen to fit in with a cottage/farmhouse/country home. The small terracotta pots make them a little bit more aged and unique, and so worth the money.
I have the Thyme version but they do Rosemary and Basil too, unfortunately I think the Thyme pot has sold out for now. But I’ve linked the Rosemary pot if you like that one too!

4) Cambridge Blue Striped Table Cloth
Adding curtains to cover white goods/large appliances is a great way to add character and interest to your space, for more tips for adding charm to your space read my previous post.
I picked up this fabric from Amazon and purchased two lengths of it, I did a simple sewing DIY and hung it with a tension rod from Wilko. It perfectly hides the ugly and modern washing machine with beautiful ticking and vintage looking fabric. Not to mention that this fabric is meant for a tablecloth, so it is waxed and waterproof/stainproof. Another win!

5) Vintage Terraillon Kitchen Scales
These gorgeous, vintage style kitchen scales are an example of function and beauty in the home. I use these regularly when backing and in the meantime they look fab on the shelf. They are really affordable and a great way to replace modern, battery powered scales with something a little more timeless and chic.

6) Ticking Stripe Cushion Cover
Ticking stipe fabric is timeless and gives a real rustic, vintage look. I have some long pillows that have been passed down through my family, still with the original duck and chicken feather stuffing!
But for a less ancient pillow cover, which is rather less hard to find, you can get the look on a budget by buying them new. I have linked one from Amazon below (as this is an affordable amazon home decor dedicated post) but you can also buy it from Etsy (seller Roses and Bloom) if you would rather buying from a small business, which I highly recommend.

7) Antique Looking Wall Sconces
I love these sconces, I have bought a pair for my new home so unfortunately don’t have any pics of them in place. But I had to share them because they are so affordable and so vintage looking. I love the antique brass look with the linen shade, they are so classic and I can’t wait to install them in our home. There is lots of affordable amazon home decor – in the lighting department – up for grabs, you just have to do a bit of digging!

8) Frilly Glass Café Pendant Lamp
I adore the look of a glass café pendant light, the frilly glass with the visible vintage bulb is such a rustic and beautiful look. The look is so feminine and French country, this is a dupe of a Devol Kitchens light which is extortionately more expensive. I’m so happy I found this one – again it is not installed yet but I am going to hang it low over our dining table.

9) Rustic Olive Soap Cube
Olive oil soap in any shape or form is beautiful, the gorgeous green colour is perfect for any French country/English cottage home. This cube soap is a fabulous statement for your kitchen or spare room, and its volume means great value for money! Another example of a beautiful but functional item that can be utilised in the home and serves as decoration.

10) Antique Looking Flower Cutting Scissors
Another functional and beautiful piece of home decor, these iron and antique style scissors are a great addition to a peg rack in the kitchen. I use mine to cut flowers and herbs in the kitchen, and they are great to photograph in flat-lays and layered shots. These scissors are so popular on Instagram (check mine out), but often hard to find. I’ve managed to find some on Amazon from Ib Laursen, one of my favourite brands.
